These quilts depict Lutheran Church of Hope's vision statement—to be Spirit-filled, Christ-centered, and Growing. Scriptural references are: Acts 2, John 13, and Mathew 28. The quilts were first hung in the worship center on October 7, 2002. They were taken down for building construction and on October 3, 2008, rehung in the atrium of the new worship center.

The left panel, depicting the Holy Spirit is 60" X 72".
The center panel, depicting a Christ-centered body of people on earth is 72" X 108".
The right panel, depicting our growth in Christ is 60" X 72".
Designs for the quilt triptych were drawn by Erin Higgins and translated into quilt patterns by Donita Fredricks. Beginning with the center panel, each quilt design was cut into sections for sewing at home. Fabrics were donated from the personal stash of each quilter, though some fabrics were purchased, particularly for the sky areas. Over 14 months, the quilters met in the home of Patty Barrett to work together on the quilts. All three quilts were machine quilted by Patty.
Quilters who donated time on these quilts were: Patty Barrett, Jean DeHaai, Donita Fredricks, Illa Harvey, Erin Higgins, Linda Hungerford, Kristine Peterson.
The quilts were included in a "Glory Quilts" story that appeared in the Nov/Dec 2003 issue of Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting. It was written by Hope Quilter Linda Hungerford.
